Jennifer Gonzalez

Director of Storytelling

Jennifer is ACE’s Director of Storytelling. In this role, she leads ACE’s storytelling work and produces engaging visual content and videos that educate about climate science, tell stories of young people impacted by climate change, and inspire climate action among youth.

Prior to joining ACE, Jennifer was a documentary filmmaker and photographer focusing on short-form storytelling while sharing her passion about topics surrounding the environment, culture and community. She has received multiple multimedia grants from The Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting that has allowed her to travel to Nepal, India, Indonesia and The Dominican Republic to document under-reported issues. She previously worked with a non-profit in Africa to help build their video storytelling and social presence.

Jennifer holds a M.S. in Professional Media Management and Digital Documentary as well as a B.S. in Journalism from Southern Illinois University.

When not fighting climate change, Jennifer likes biking, gardening, cooking and going to baseball games and soccer matches. She lives in Los Angeles with her partner Dallen.
