The Green Grens of Elk Grove High School hosted an electronic recycling drive for their town that collected 5 tons of E-waste and more than 300 pounds of food donations. Plus, the vendor the team worked with was willing to pay $60 for every for ton of waste collected. This equals out to $300 that the team then donated to various charities.
Here’s a recap of the story told from the ACE Educator perspective. I used Storybird to visual tell the story.
