Meet the Team Local Partners

Welcome from Alan Palm, Lead Educator - New England
Hello teachers and welcome to ACE’s New England page! Our team is busy reaching out to students at public and independent high schools throughout New England. We are confident that our climate education program will inform students and inspire them to take action. With the help of our local partner organizations, we’re connecting students to myriad fun and meaningful ways to get involved -- from biking, media production and urban farming, to conservation, environmental justice and political advocacy. A Massachusetts native, born in Beverly and raised on Buzzard’s Bay, I spent the last several years exploring America with BioTour, an organization that was part education non-profit and part cross country adventure. I traveled to 46 states on school buses powered by recycled vegetable oil and solar electricity and gave presentations to thousands of students about sustainability. I am thrilled to return to my home state to continue supporting the growing youth movement by working with ACE.
Our team is comprised of experienced community organizers and leaders in the clean energy and environmental justice movements. We are ready to help high school students find their voice, get involved and lead the fight against climate change!
