Ridgewood High School's Action Team members noticed that lights were on all the time at their school, so they drafted a proposal of how to be more efficient with their energy use and conducted an energy audit themsleves. They also installed motion sensor lights. They even got the school to turn off the lights on nights and weekends, saving $1000/year and growing their action team in the process.
