Life Straws at the Rose Parade!
New Year's Day, we drove to the Rose Parade wearing our "Ask me why I'm recycling" t-shirts to collect more life straws! We teamed up with many other groups and walked the streets looking in trashcans, asking folks for their recyclables, and picking some up from the floor.
Project Steps:
1. Drive down to the Rose Parade with bags and gloves.
2. Go around collecting bottles/cans and educated anyone who will listen.
3. Sort and count once collection is done.
4. BE CAREFUL! :-)
