Title: Lead Educator
Description: We need a dynamic, energetic individual to deliver our multimedia presentations on climate change to high school students in Chicago. Be sure to check out our trailer (http://www.acespace.org/get-inspired/trailer) to get a sense of what we do. You’ll be in the trenches with high school students, an essential job communicating the essential science of our presentation while making it fun and memorable.
You’ll also manage a small team of remote educators and build relationships with schools and like minded Chicago nonprofits. Building off of a strong 2009, the Chicago team has much of its operating apparatus in place for 2010, but will need a strong manager to lead the team going forward: scheduling assemblies, nurturing and developing partnerships, and coordinating PR efforts will be some of your responsibilities.
