Star in Your Own Music Video

Calling all you losers! We were just totally inspired by this video created by Marist High School’s Green Club in Atlanta for the Green Schools Alliance. Therefore, we’re upping the anti for our Biggest Loser: Energy competition.

Our challenge to you, ACE-ers? Make a music a video about the Biggest Loser: Energy competition. It can be a rap, it can be a pop song, it can be a jazz number, whatever your favorite style of music is, that’s okay by us! So what’s in it for you? A few things! First,  the Action Team with the best music video, as voted on in a Facebook poll, will win cash money to buy more energy efficient gadgets to green up their school. Think solio chargers, power strips and more posters. The runner up gets $50.

Music video charges ahead + plans for a green new year

The start of the new school year has been filled with many hours dedicated to the college search, and so not much has happened yet with our new green projects for the year… yet!

Our Energy Committee will begin a recycling awareness campaign, and there are field trips scheduled to the Connecticut Resource Recovery Authority Trash Museum in Hartford, CT. More to come…
