The countdown for getting Final Weigh-Ins submitted for ACE’s Biggest Loser: Energy competition is officially on. What better way to close out the competition on a strong note than to crank out a few super awesome, super original Bonus Projects?
We in ACE Head Quarters had a great time making these celebrity Shut ‘Em Down posters (click to download your own copies!) to hang over lights to remind people to shut ‘em down when they leave the room. In fact,we had such a good time making them that we wanted to pass along our secrets to you. Read on for the step by step down low on how to make these posters.

ACE’s Spring 2012 Biggest Loser: Energy competition is in full swing. So far we’ve had 200 Action Teams sign up to participate and we’ve already had 21 First Weigh-Ins. Wow, that’s a lot of losing.
While this competition is obviously super fun, we’re ready to step the fun factor up a notch and need your help. Here are a few super easy ways your Action Team can bring the fun while still helping your school shed mad pounds of CO2. Inspired to take some of these projects on? Leadership Training Was a Success!
October 11th, 2011 by Gaby
This is a guest post by Field Correspondent Catherine Farmer, sophomore at East Chapel Hill High School in North Carolina.
Before I went, I wasn’t sure how I felt about Leadership Training. Don’t get me wrong – I was excited, especially to work with other teens passionate about environmental issues, but I was a little afraid that the training would just end up being a rehash of what I already knew about climate change. Minutes into the training, I realized how unfounded my fears were – the training was already awesome, and it had barely started.

ACE Headquarters Takes on Biggest Loser
September 8th, 2011 by Gaby
Headquarters is getting pumped. Super pumped, actually. Why? Not only is it the start of the school year, but ACE’s Biggest Loser: Energy has officially launched. It’s the competition where it’s cool to be a loser. Obviously, we here at headquarters are entering the competition ourselves so that we can shed nasty carbon pounds and slay energy vampires too. Just because we came up with it doesn’t mean we can’t get in on the fun!
We started our energy audit on September 8. First, I checked out the Action Plan for some insider tips on how to win the competition. Then I ran around the office informing everybody that we were starting the competition- and that the Northern California headquarter team was definitely going to win.
