This is the third installment of the Princeton Energy and Climate Scholars’ (PECS) daily blogs from the Rio+20 UN Conference on Sustainable Development. Check out the introductory blog post here.
Today, the PECS team headed outside the conference walls to the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, or PUC-Rio University, for a joint workshop with Brazilian students on how to build interdisciplinary experiences for students of sustainability.

The Princeton Energy and Climate Scholars Team has landed in Rio de Janeiro and is soaking up their first weekend of Rio+20, the UN Conference on Sustainable Development! Our first day at the conference was extremely eye-opening–we met people from all over the world and got a glimpse of how youth are getting involved in conference proceedings at the highest level possible. Welcome to Rio+20

This weekend, an intrepid group of PhD students from Princeton University—the Princeton Energy and Climate Scholars (PECS)—will head to the other side of the equator for the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (or Rio+20) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
