Trees Atlanta is dedicated to protecting and improving Atlanta’s urban environment by planting, conserving, and educating.  Since 1985, Trees Atlanta has planted and distributed over 75,000 trees that provide critical environmental, social, and economic services. 

 

 What YOU can Do:

 Youth can take action by participating in Urban Forestry Project every Saturday of the year from 9-noon.  Projects include tree planting, tree care projects including mulching and watering, invasive plant removal/forest restoration, and clean-ups.  Ready to change the world?  Volunteer Now! We provide community service hours upon request.

Fernbank Museum of Natural History

 

Fernbank Museum inspires life-long learning of natural history through dynamic programming to encourage a greater appreciation of our planet and its people

 

What YOU can Do:

 

Youth can visit the museum, volunteer in environmental projects, become summer volunteers or interns, visit the old-growth Fernbank Forest, and/or participate in the UrbanWatch program through their schools/classes.

Bright Green Markets can help your Action Team raise money through your own fundraising website.  Each website will have its own name and look and all of the products sold will help consumers reduce their carbon footprint.   There is no cost or obligation and your group will receive 50% of the net profit.
