What YOU Can Do: Grab 1Sky’s High School Organizing Guide to become a Climate Precinct Captain at your school and check out the 1Sky local site to find a climate event near you! CPCs work for strong federal climate legislation at the local level, and usually host events, do outreach to media and get involved in 1Sky activities - with plenty of support and training from 1Sky staff.
350.org

350.org is an international campaign dedicated to building a movement to unite the world around solutions to the climate crisis--the solutions that science and justice demand. Our focus is on the number 350 - as in parts per million, the level scientists have identified as the safe upper limit for CO2 in our atmosphere. But 350 is more than a number - it's a symbol of where we need to head as a planet.

What YOU Can Do: Get to work! On October 10, 2010, join people all around the world who are calling on our world leaders to take action on climate change with a clear message: we're getting to work, are you?! Sign up to get more info - and join the global movement!
Check out 350.org for more info - yeah!

Clif Bar's 2 Mile Challenge

Did you know that 40% of all urban travel happens within 2 miles of home; 90% of that is by car? What YOU Can Do: CLIF began the 2 Mile Challenge to bring a little fun and competition to the fight. Taking the 2 Mile Challenge is easy: just sign up, log in and challenge yourself and your friends by committing to ride your bike. What color team will you join – Red, Blue, Gold? Join the ride!
