 Bridget Jankovsky, Educator - Denver

Bridget graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2008, earning a B.A. in Sociology and receiving the INVST Community Leadership studies certificate as well as the Peace and Conflict Studies certificate. While at CU she was an avid broomball player, a member of the CU Freestyle Ski Team, and volunteered as a street counselor with homeless youth.

Bridget joined the ACE team after leading a service-learning trip for CU that focused on energy and the economy in the southwestern United States.  During this experience she facilitated students’ exploration of issues such as environmental stewardship, climate change, housing and healthcare access, human rights, energy and globalization.

Bridget has a long-standing commitment to empowering youth through knowledge and action and is passionate about inspiring youth to raise their voices in order to create a world that they envision. She believes by informing and equipping youth with the tools necessary to create change we can make a long lasting difference in the world.
